There is a small and a large Aselinos on the northern part of the island.
The large one is a busy spot with restaurants and bars and may be a little crowded during the early afternoon. The sea is sometimes rough but most of the time it is quiet and calm. The small Aselinos beach is a little cozy beach with a beach Taverna. It is worth a visit because this beach is still unspoiled.

Idyllic secluded beach on the tiny islet of Tsougria near Skiathos Greece
There a few small islets offshore from Skiathos, most of them uninhabited. They are ideal for a day trip, because their amazing beaches and laid back atmosphere.
The most important of them is Tsougria, the largest. It has a few beaches and one of them, the best, is on a perfect cove with while sands and turquoise clear waters.
The waters are most of the time shallow inviting families with small children.
I suggest you go there with a professional boat rider. They rent them for the hour.
The reason is there are many treacherous rocks on the strait between Skiathos and the islets. During summers they have a schedule of almost every hour.
Near Tsougria, lies Tsougriaki, meaning little Tsougria, with no remarkable beaches, but being so isolated it is great for a romantic getaway.
Another small islets nearby is Arkos, with a relaxed atmosphere and great views of the Island of Skiathos Greece.

It is great for sun tanning since there is a constant breeze blowing. The second part has all amenities for water sports but if you are a passive beach goer, this beach is very relaxed and features tavernas and other facilities.
