Emerald Beach on the west coast of Okinawa, Japan
This beach is located on the west coast of Okinawa. This is the only beach in Japan on a lagoon and has been designated with an AA rating for its clear waters. The famous Churaumi Aquarium is also nearby. This beach is located within the Okinawa Ocean Expo Park (Kaiyohaku Koen) Okinawa. You may access it by bus from Naha airport of Naha Bus terminal. Naha is the capital of Okinawa.

Moon Tropical Beach in Okinawa, Japan
This Okinawa’s northern coast beach is within the premises of Hotel Moon Beach. This is a 150 meters beach and is often crowded with beach goers from the nearby towns. The swimming area is well designated and you may enjoy sun beds, umbrellas and other beach service. The hotel offers all kind of activities for guests and visitors.

Manza Beach in Okinawa, Japan
Manza Beach is a 300 meters beach of soft sands is located on the northern coast of Okinawa, mainly occupied by ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach Resort. The entrance is a mere 1,000 yen but it’s worth the money by far.
Here you may enjoy all facilities that one can expect from an important beach, like water sports equipment, food and bar stands, sun beds and umbrellas. It is open June to August.
This beach is located on the southeastern shore and stretches for over on km. I want to mention that on this beach some sections are rough. But is a beach to enjoy. In the vicinity you may find less expensive accommodation than those mentioned above.
Fusaki Beach on the southernmost island of Okinawa Japan
This beach is located in the southern part of Ishigaki Island, one of the southernmost islands of Okinawa Japan. They are much closer to Taiwan and the Philippines that to the main and large Japanese Islands.
This is a paradisiacal beach behind the Fusaki Resort Village. The resort welcome guests and non guests and you may feel free to walk through the lobby to reach the beach. This is a sfe beach protected by an artificial reef.
This is a free admission and free parking beach, located along the western coast stretching for only 200 meters. It has all facilities for water sports and designated swimming areas. This beach would be great for a family vacation.
Aharen Beach on the Island of Tokashiki, Okinawa Japan
This beach is on Tokashiki Island one of the many islands of Okinawa. This one and the neighboring beaches is known for its diving in the clearest waters in the area. If you are an adventurer and are staying in Naha, the capital you may take a ferry or a few ferries that will take you there in about an hour or two.
This beach is located on the premises of JAL Private Resort Okuma. You may visit for a day by paying only 750 yen per person and 500 yen parking fee. The area where the resort is located is a less crowded one and in this case the beach stretches for more than one km. You may enjoy all the facilities of the hotels for a great day at the beach.
There are services available for snorkeling and scuba diving from the hotel. The Yanbaru Wildlife Conservation center is only 6 km from the hotel.

Sunset Beach is located in Honto Central Okinawa, Japan
This beach is part of the Mihama American Village which is an entertainment complex with lots of shopping opportunities. It is located in Honto, Central Okinawa. The beach is actually a man made bay. It is loyal to its name because sunsets are spectacular from this west coast spot.
This is the beach for snorkelers and divers. The marine life in the underwater is rich and becomes the delight of visitors and lovers of these sports. The caves near the shore are easy to visit by swimming a little bit underwater. This beach is often crowded with lovers of the above mentioned sports. Admission is 100 yen and parking is free.
This beach is located on the southern tip of Honto, and is less crowded than the one above. There you’ll find good snorkeling but the marine life is not so dense as in Cape Maeda. No admission or Parking fees.
