Mykonos Beaches are in my opinion the most known of the Greece Beaches. All Mediterranean and Greek Islands Cruise make sure to stop in Mykonos for the delight of their passengers.
But this is just a
fraction of the tourists that arrive on the island from all over Europe
and keep coming again and again.
It is an important tourist destination
due to its cosmopolitan character, nightlife, hotels and restaurants.

It is part of the Cyclades Islands together with Tinos, Syros, Paros, Naxos, Sikinos and Santorini Island.
The main city of the island is Mykonos also called Chora or Hora located on the west coast and the island itself is sometimes recognized as Chora.
The ground is mainly granite therefore the supply of water is almost nonexistent so they rely on sea water desalination for their needs.
