The French Riviera Beaches have been fashionable with beach goers for centuries. As opposed to other French Beaches they are blessed by the waters of the Mediterranean and a great weather year round.
They have been attracting visitors from northern Europe for decades. There are many beaches on these French shores, let me mention a few of the best and most renowned.

French Riviera beaches
It is located on the French-Italian border and is attracting more and more visitors to its beaches. Visitors are mainly from Italy followed by Germans and English.
The weather is subtropical with more than 300 cloudless days a year. So its ideal for beach goers that like to relax, swim and sun tan on the Mediterranean waters.
Antibes is known for its stunning beaches and beautiful landscape. The area features many private and public beaches providing all facilities to visitors.
The largest beaches in the area are Plage du Ponteil and Le Salis Beach. These beaches are crowded during season, so come early if you want to find the right spot near the water.
The famous beaches of Cap d’Antibes
French Riviera Beaches
This beach offers a great view of Antibes; it is frequented by the wealthy cosmopolitan crowd.
The beach's status is evident in the designer swimsuits and free flow of champagne in the private piers.
Its beach clubs are popular as is the snorkeling.
If activity is what you are after then the beaches at Juan Le Pins offer plenty of water sports and there is rumor that water skiing was even invented there.
The water here is calm, clean and warm and is suitable for all the family.
Slightly more relaxed and laid back then its St Tropez counterpart, the beaches of Antibes are the ideal way to soak up the sun on the Cote D'Azur.
St Honorat Island off shore of Cannes France
These two islands are part of the archipelago of the Iles de Lerins about 2 km off the coast of Cannes in the French Riviera.
St Honorat is the smaller of the two with 1.5 km length by 400 meters wide.
Take with you your swimming suits underneath your clothes; the islands have beautiful small beaches where you can tan and swim.
Also bring some drinks and food if you are going to spend the whole day, because the services of food are limited to one café.
St Tropez in the Cote d'Azur has attracted tourism for many decades
St Tropez Beaches
There are approximately 40 beaches scattered on the peninsula all of them easy reachable from St Tropez.
The main beaches of St Tropez are located on the Ramatuelle peninsula, a short drive out of town.
Some of the best beaches in France are to be found on the stretch of coastline known as the Plage de Pampelonne.
La Residence de la Pinede in St Tropez occupies part of the beach of la Bouillabaisse, which opens exclusively for the use of the guests of the hotel.
It is family oriented beach with playgrounds perfect for families with small children.
