Cape Cod Beaches are among the Best Beaches in America. This is a Massachusetts peninsula that juts into the Atlantic and curls upward, creating an inner harbor known as Cape Cod Bay.

Mayflower beach in Dennis is popular with families with small children
Located in Dennis in the mid-cape. The sands are powdery white and calm turquoise waters, making this beach one of the most popular in the town of Dennis and also across the Cape. It is easy to get to.
It is a typical family oriented beach, with small waves and lots of space to spread out. They also feature attendants on duty.
Cahoon Hollow Beach is worth the effort to get there
Cahoon Hollow Beach
Located in Wellfleet on the ocean side of town. It is not easy to reach, since one has to climb and then go down to the sand dunes. It is therefore not recommended for families and seniors. Once there the visitor will enjoy calm waters perfect for swimming and resting.
The only local Wellfleet Beachcomber restaurant, with a rich New England style menu, is located here.
Head of the Meadow Beach
Located in Truro, this Atlantic beach is a secluded one and the only beach open to the public in the tiny town of Turo. It is underdeveloped.
For Scuba divers this is heaven, since the town is known for being a ship graveyard, featuring hundreds of sunken ships caught in this beach's many hidden sandbars.
Mayo Beach in Wellfleet with calm waters
Located in Wellfleet, it is a calm waters beach with a playground nearby and plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, including Mac's Seafood, Wellfleet Pearl and the interesting The Bookstore and Restaurant.
Located in Wellfleet on the Atlantic side. It is almost pretty full with sunbathers and families under their umbrellas in the summer. It is perfect for a beach side picnic.

West Dennis Beach
Located in West Dennis, this is a two mile long beach popular with joggers and sunbathers. It features concession stands, showers, restrooms and plenty parking space. It is safe to swim on this beach with many lifeguard stations.
Sandy Neck Beach Park
Located in Barnstable, this a large state park with dunes, marshes and a maritime forest. It is Cape Cod’s longest beach, with six miles in length, offering great views of the bay area. The area is known for its wealth of shells and interesting rocks.
Located in South Yarmouth, it is also known as Bass River Beach, it is a large beach at the mouth of the Bass River. Sunsets here are absolutely gorgeous. This is the site of Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House, a local favorite with beautiful Atlantic views and great New England seafood.
Breakwater Beach in Brewster with white sands and calm waters
Located in Brewster, it is ideal for families and small children. It is one of Brewster’s most popular beaches. In the middle of summer, its mild 65-70 degree water makes for an exceptional ocean swim.
Sandwich Town Beach
This beach is for Scuba Divers, with a clay reef and a ship wreckage with awesome marine life. The boardwalks allow visitors to enter the beach located at the end of the Sandwich Community.
Nauset Light Beach
Located in Eastham is a great beach for surfing and swimming with the right waves that vary in height during the different tides of the day.

Newcomb Hollow Beach is ideal for jogging
Newcomb Hollow Beach
Located in Wellfleet, this beach is perfect for those that enjoy running on the beach. There are steep paths that lead to a long stretch of flat sand. The waves are calm and low, and many enjoy taking a few hours to simply rest on the sand, run, or investigate the creature filled tide pools.
Located in Wellfleet it offers a great view of nearby Provincetown, while sun tanning or swimming on the calm waters of this beach. It is located on the Cape Cod Bay side of town.
First Encounter Beach
Located in Eastham, the name of this beach rememorize the actual place where Pilgrims and Native Americans first met when the settlers landed. The waters are warm and the sand dunes are low.
Located in Dennis-Yarmouth, offers a boardwalk that crosses over the beautiful marsh into the sea. It features a picnic area, ideal for families. At low tide, the beach creates small pools where children can explore and play safely.

Old Silver Beach
Located in Falmouth, it is one of the most popular beaches in the Cape.
It offers beach goers a stunning view of Buzzards Bay, which in turn provides warm water for swimming, which can reach 70 degrees in the middle of summer.
Located in Dennis, it is a popular beach.
The curve of the
beach along the Bay allows tidal pools and flats to form at low tide, something
to keep the kids busy, while high tide provides prime swimming opportunities.
Located in Centerville, this is a tourist popular beach. On any summer afternoon it may be packed with people.
This beach stretches along Nantucket Sound to Covell’s Beach. It is equipped with lifeguards on duty and an area for showers and restrooms.

Located in Dennis like some of above mentioned beaches, this one is on the Bay side and boasts a low tide.
The sands are soft and soothing while you seat and watch the boats pass through Sesuit Harbor.
Located in Orleans, it has calm waters with tidal pools and long tidal flats. It features and food shack offering the typical beach food such as burgers, hot dogs, fries and ice cream.
Located in Orleans, it is the right place for a sunset over the boats docked on the harbor. It is lined with pine trees marking the channel for boats, docked in the harbor or as a fishing fleet sails by. The entrance to the Harbor is also lined with pine trees, installed to mark the channel for boats, making for an even more amazing image.
